Carpenterie Lombarde operates in compliance with the regulatory standards required for the carpentry field.
The UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 certification is the starting point to build a solid, structured and efficient quality management system. The adjustment made in 2015 with the risk analysis represented an important step toward a fluid organization which ensure a better service.
A second certification that is needed for a carpentry company is the UNI EN 3834:2006 certification, which defines the “quality requirements for melting welding of metal materials”. Considering the manufacturing of Carpenterie Lombarde we chose the UNI EN ISO 3834-2 “extended quality requirements” certification. This licence attests to the suitability of our management system of welding activities: from welding procedures certifications (according to EN ISO 15614-1, ASME IX o AWS D.1.1) to specific WPS welding editors (according to EN ISO 15609, ASME IX o AWS D.1.1) up to welders’ qualifications (according to UNI EN ISO 9606 – UNI EN ISO 14732 – ASME IX o AWS D.1.1).
Then in 2014 Carpenterie Lombarde got the certification for the manufacture of structural carpentry UNI EN 1090-2 marked CE. The will to represent an excellence on the territory, the increasingly demanding requests of our customers and a well-structured system have meant for a higher certified class execution UNI EN 1090-2 EXC4. All steel processing equipment and activities have been accurately tested according ITT initial tests. The activities covered by the tests are:
- Thermal cut
- Flame straightening
- Drilling
- Plate bending
- Profile bending
- Hacksaw cut
- Welding
- Painting
- Hot dip galvanization
The welding section is completed with the certification of personnel for the execution of non-destructive tests. Our personnel cover all traditional surface and volumetric control system (visual VT, with penetrating liquid PT, with the use of magnetic particles MT and at last with the ultrasonic technique UT). All the staff involved in non-destructive tests are certified according to the following standards:
- UNI EN ISO 9712 2nd level;
- ASNT SNT-TC-1A.
In the field of surface coatings Carpenterie Lombarde can provide to heat galvanized or painted structures. The galvanization follows the norms UNI EN ISO 1461:2009, ASTM A123, BS EN ISO 1461:2009.
The painting is instead carried out by our client’s requirements (when existing) or according to UNI EN ISO 12944 if liquid painting is required. When a powder painting is required on heat galvanized manufactures, this is manufactured in compliance with UNI EN 13438:2013 or Qualicoat Standards.
