Every phase of Carpenterie Lombarde’s manufacturing process is entirely managed by dedicated departments that go from taking the order and development of commission to the manufacturing and shipping of the products. Every involved professional figure follows accurate working procedures and strict controls that guarantee elevated quality standards.

Receiving customer’s order
The organizational structure of Carpenterie Lombarde’s offices is designed to accommodate in a functional and practical way customer’s requests and to manage them immediately.
Then every requirement is conveyed in our business process and it is taken in charge by specific reference figures who will assess and evaluate carefully every technical, designing and productive aspect each according to their skills and areas of relevance.

Technical review
The preliminary phase of every work is the “technical review”, in whom Carpenterie Lombarde verify to possess all the requirements needed to manage correctly customer’s requests, that can be about the realization of exclusive projects or about our self-production.
DESIGN AND STRUCTURAL CHECKS
If a customer need to outsource a project as a whole, Carpenterie Lombarde is able to fully deal with it starting from the development of structural calculations to the choice of the most suitable nodes and profiles.
The engineer office proceeds with the drawing of the constructive designs which are delivered to the customer as part of his supply. Sometimes, before the serial production, some functional checks are necessary; even in this case Carpenterie Lombarde, with the help of prototyping with 3D printer, is able to support client’s ideas and to transform them then in a successful product.
REALISATION ON CUSTOMER’S PROJECT
Carpenterie Lombarde is able to entirely realize a project conceived by the customer and, after a careful feasibility analysis by the engineering office and other specific experts involved, it put on field appropriate skills, facilities and instrumentation to concretely develop it as closely as possible to the original request.

Elaboration of the commission
The manufacturing of a large number of components and the frequent supply of orders to be delivered directly on our installation site brought to the development of a management software entirely adapted to the specific needs of Carpenterie Lombarde. Our computerized system allows to track the material from the raw state (plates and profiles) to the finished product.
The interaction with the thermal cut also plays fully automatically the association between the casting of the sheet metal and the machined pieces, instantly giving feedback to the office then can so monitor the status of progress from the manufacture of a component to the cutting of raw material till its shipping. The management software generates for every element to produce an unique QRcode that allows to identify the component during the producing process.

The supply of raw material
The accurate selection of the most suitable raw material for each specific project is the essential starting point to create a project that knows how to fully meet the client’s request.

Carpenterie Lombarde has many qualified suppliers with whom it has built a solid relationship based on faith and reciprocal cooperation over the years.

Production
The realization of artifacts of Carpenterie Lombarde is made by qualified and certified personnel. The continuous training, aimed at constantly responding with professionalism to our client’s needs, is often sided with the specific training about the use of new machinery introduced into the company or the implementation of new features on already installed machinery. Welders and carpenters selected for the realisation of a certain component use the management software to ensure the traceability of times and figures involved.
Five matric barcode insertion stations arranged in the various departments allow a rapid tracking of the activities not only of the raw materials (when requested for every single item or component or a specific manufacture) but also of the staff who dealt with that project and/or item. The production department boasts qualified welders to the most common used standards (EN-ASME-AWS) constantly monitored by an internal Welding Engineer acting as a Welding Coordinator.
At the end of manufacturing all the items are traceable through the use of a QRcode that workers place on the finished components: at the shipping time, with this reading, both the transport document and the packaging list are automatically filled in.

Quality control
Quality control is fundamental to prevent any kind of problem that could occur on the finished product and to operate on different phases: from the preliminary one to the production process up to the final test.
The management software incorporates the insertion of a new commission, developing a quality chart for each constructive drawing. With the manufacturing process this folder is completed with all certifications and documents needed such as plates certificates, beam and tube certificates, WPQ with WPS and WPQR licenses and the used filler materials certificates.

PRE-ASSEMBLY
The construction of industrial machinery and structural works requires the utmost attention during the construction phases of those items that go to assembly the final product.
For this reason pre-assembly is a request that many company make to whom directly produce the single mechanical or structural items so that the next phase of assembly results easier and faster.
This choice leads to a precision level optimally aligned to the original project.
EXTERNAL MANUFACTURING
The experience gained through the years and the cooperation with different partners allow Carpenterie Lombarde to supply a product complete of heat treatment and mechanical processes of all kind.
Our technical department is always available to support the costumer from the design of an item, testing every its criticality or working difficulty and identifying the most valid alternatives.

Surface finishing
To complete the project Carpenterie Lombarde can handle different kind of surface finishes:
HOT DIP GALVANIZATION
Much of the carpentry on the market made under contract and the high number of tons manufactured in Robecco S/N headquarter tell the specifications for the surface coating the hot dip galvanization. The strategic choice of the productive site in Bellusco, located inside a eat galvanization, benefits Carpenterie Lombarde in terms of timing and flexibility compared to the competitors.
Projects developed at engineering office are fully thought and made respecting the norms UNI EN 1090-2 ed EN 14713-1/2 and the hot dip galvanization can be executed according to UNI EN ISO 1461:2009, ASTM A123, BS EN ISO 1461:2009.
PAINTING
Carpenterie Lombarde has selected and built partnerships with high qualified suppliers in both liquid coating application and powder application.
Qualified liquid painting processes are implemented according to UNI EN ISO 12944 standard. Qualified powder painting processes of heat galvanization products are implemented according to UNI EN 13438:2013 or to Qualicoat standard for other metallic surfaces (carbon steel, aluminium, stainless steel).
For both processes, in accordance with the standards, the engineering office draws specific procedures of application according to the durability of the product required by our customer.

Assembly and
packing list
Carpenterie Lombarde, strong of its experience in the field of mechanical and electric assembly, has qualified personnel inside its productive units who is able to provide an adequate and efficient finished product to his costumer. If requested the purchasing office can automatically buy electric engine, adaptor, limit switches, switchboards and all the necessary to complete the machinery.
According to the shipping methods (by land, by sea, by air) the packaging has to be suitable and safe to facilitate handling, transport and storage. Every finished product is accompanied by the packaging list, an important document to manage the stocking activities and the National and international shipping.
Its correct filling allows to plan in a reliable way a shipping process and on-site reception of the manufactures.

Shipping
Thanks to a qualified suppliers’ network, as well as the internal dedicated personnel, Carpenterie Lombarde is able to supply to its customers the best solution that allows to optimize the timing and the shipping cost modelling the transport service according to every request.
Both in Robecco headquarter and in Bellusco one the traditional shipping processes are combined to the containerization service.
